(UNS N08825) Alloy 825 is a nickel-chromium alloy with additions of copper and molybdenum displaying superior functionality in highly oxidizing and acid environments through outstanding resistance to reduction, stress, corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion. Alloy 825 is especially resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acid. This alloy is often used in the oil and gas industry and in a wide variety of chemical processes.
