(UNS N06601) Alloy 601 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with similarities to 600, but with the additions of aluminum and titanium. It is recommended for high-temperature service in +550°C environments due to its high creep resistance. It also exhibits resistance to:
· Oxidation at high-temperatures
· Carburization conditions
· Oxidation in sulfuric atmospheres
· Stress-corrosion cracking
Alloy 601 is commonly used in furnace construction, the chemical industry, power plants, and the automotive industry.
