(UNS N05500) Alloy K500 is a nickel-copper alloy that can be age-hardened due to the additions of aluminum and titanium. It possesses corrosion resistance and strength at elevated temperatures and is non-magnetic. It is characterized by excellent resistance to chloride-induced stress cracking and good fatigue strength in the age-hardened condition. Alloy K500 is used in seawater applications for marine and naval defense, offshore engineering, chemical, and petro-chemical industries.
